Terms and Conditions

1. IMPORTANT NOTICE

Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before booking your trip with The Swiss Holiday. This document constitutes a binding contract for all travel arrangements and services provided by us. If you have any questions, please contact us immediately.

By confirming a booking and making payment, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and accepted these Terms and Conditions on behalf of yourself and all other persons included in your booking.


2. RESERVATIONS & PAYMENTS

  • All reservations must be confirmed in writing.

  • A 50% deposit is required within 5 days of confirmation to secure the booking (subject to travel dates and service availability).

  • Full payment must be made 40 days before arrival.

  • Bookings made within 30 days of travel require full payment at the time of booking.

  • All payments are to be made in Euro (€) unless stated otherwise.

  • Credit card payments incur a 3% processing fee.


3. PAYMENT OPTIONS

a) Credit/Debit Card

  • We accept Visa, MasterCard, and American Express.

  • All card payments are processed via a secure, encrypted payment gateway.

  • We do not store your credit card information.

  • If payment is declined, alternate payment must be provided within 48 hours, or your booking may be cancelled.

b) Bank Transfer / Internet Banking

  • Payments can also be made via secure online bank transfer through our authorized gateway.

c) Pay at Hotel (Post-Pay)

  • Available only at selected partner hotels. Payment can be made directly at the hotel reception during check-in.


4. BOOKING CONFIRMATION

A booking is considered confirmed only upon receipt of a booking confirmation via email. If you do not receive a confirmation, please:

  • Check your spam/junk folder.

  • Contact us immediately to confirm your booking status.


5. DELIVERY OF SERVICES

What is an e-Voucher?

An e-Voucher is a paperless confirmation document provided in place of physical tickets. It must be presented at hotels or excursions counters during check-in.

How will I receive my e-Voucher?

Your e-Voucher will be emailed to you within 10 to 30 days of booking. If not received, contact us immediately.

Note: You must carry printouts of your e-Vouchers and travel documents. Failure to do so may result in denial of service, for which The Swiss Holiday is not responsible.


6. AMENDMENTS & CANCELLATIONS

Cancellation Fees:

  • More than 40 days before travel – 7% of booking amount (standard charge)

  • 30 – 15 days before travel – 50%

  • 14 – 10 days before travel – 70%

  • 9 – 0 days before travel – 100% (no refund)

To cancel, send an email to us with your booking details.

Airline-Specific Cancellations:

Airline bookings are subject to individual airline policies. You may need to contact the airline directly for cancellations.


7. REFUND POLICY

  • Refunds are processed within 15–20 working days after cancellation.

  • Refunds to credit cards are processed back to the original card.

  • Payments made via other methods will be refunded via cheque, bank transfer, or demand draft within 30 days.

  • Refunds are subject to receiving the payment back from the service provider.

  • Service/convenience fees are non-refundable.

Note: Refunds must be routed through The Swiss Holiday. Refunds will not be directly processed by service providers.


8. LIABILITY

The Swiss Holiday acts only as an agent for the third-party service providers (hotels, transport operators, etc.). We are not responsible for any:

  • Injury, damage, or loss

  • Delay, cancellation, or irregularity

  • Deficiency in services or refunds from third-party providers

We strongly recommend all travelers obtain comprehensive travel insurance.

All contracts with The Swiss Holiday are governed by the laws of Switzerland.


9. COMPLAINTS & CLAIMS

If you experience any issues during your trip, report them immediately to us so we can try to resolve them.

  • If unresolved during your stay, please send a written complaint within 5 days after the end of your trip.

  • Failure to report issues during your stay may affect your right to compensation.


10. PROMOTION CODES & OFFERS

  • From time to time, The Swiss Holiday may issue discount codes or promotions.

  • We reserve the right to modify, withdraw, or cancel these promotions without prior notice.

  • In the event of a dispute, The Swiss Holiday’s decision shall be final.

By registering on our website, you consent to being contacted by us and/or our partners about relevant offers.


11. PASSPORT & TRAVEL DOCUMENTATION

Passport details are mandatory for all bookings. You will be required to provide a clear copy of the front and back of your passport along with the following:

  • Passport Number

  • Issuing Country

  • Date of Birth (DD/MMM/YY)

  • Gender

  • Passport Expiry Date (DD/MMM/YY)

  • Full Name (as per passport)

Ensure your passport is valid for at least 6 months from the date of travel.
